1 Month Stats

I know I am a little late on this, but it has been hard to find time to sit down on the computer when I would rather be making up on sleep. Up to her one month appointment we were on a 3 hour feeding schedule. Then she had gained enough weight to show she was eating well and the doctor said we could feed on demand. Since then I think her schedule has been all over because I let her sleep when she wants to, but then she has been not sleeping well at night (when I want to). I think she just finished a growth spurt, so that is our new goal, to get her schedule so that she will sleep better at night.

For all those breastfeeding Moms in Milwaukee: I also learned from my Pediatrician that there is a nursing room in the mall. It is in the family bathroom that in upstairs in the food court. Being new to this breastfeeding thing it has been nice to know that I can go out and still have a private place to nurse.

Her one month stats are:
Height: 21.5 in
Weight: 8lbs 13.5oz

She also likes to play now, okay playing is mostly staring at the toys that I put in front of her or holding on to what we put in her hand, but that is progress right?

This one she actually grabbed the binky herself, problem is she pulls it out instead of putting it in.

One Moment in Time

I can't believe that it has almost been a month since my life has drastically changed. And I can't believe how much Charly has changed in that month too. So today I decided that I needed to take some pictures of her while she is still small and has her chubby little face.

This hat was one of those purchases where I knew I shouldn't spend as much on it as I did, but isn't it so cute. It is still a little big on Charly so I will sure be using it again.

Go Pack Go!

Gotta give a shout out to our Packers who won the Superbowl on Sunday. Green Bay Packers 31 - Pittsburgh Steelers 25. Charly's first team has won the Superbowl, I wonder if that makes her a cheesehead for life?

The Big Storm

Yes we were one of the 17 states affected by the big snow storm this week. It started tue night, and it started with thunder. I asked Brad if he had ever heard thunder in a blizzard before, nope, so maybe that was a warning it was going to be a bad one. By 3 am the wind was blowing like crazy (pretty much sideways too). The next morning Brad left to go to the hospital, but came back in after a while. He had been trying to shovel his car out of the snow when our neighbor told him that even if he could get his car out he would not make it down the street, we were definitely snowed in. I think we were supposed to get 20 in, but what made it so bad was the drifts from the wind. Luckily when he came in he had an email from his resident telling him that the snow was bad so he should not come in. It took the guys in our apartment complex a chunk of the day to shovel out all the cars (and luckily the plow finally came too). I would have gone down the street to take more pictures (because there are still cars that are covered in snow) but I find myself attached to the house and this little girl of mine so I just have pictures outside our apartment.

Brad and Brian shoveling out Brad's car.

Here is the drift that was outside our window, blocking my spy window.

Here is the road that Brad wasn't going to get down.

Here is Brad's car still covered in snow.

Here is our driveway.

At least we had a path cut out for our sidewalk.
